Ibuprofin is a wonderful thing. Nice work even with soreness from the squats.

Good call. Listening to your body, that's wisdom!
Hot tub and ibuprofen, that's wisdom's little buddy!

Hi Sean - The training looks great. I think I've seen some of your guys (maybe you?) at Dave's Bench meets in Manchester. I remember the Northeast Powerlifting shirt or sweatshirt.

Training partners are great. My strong friends think picking up 300+ pound stones and flipping 700 pound tires are fun and I'm the lone guy out until winter comes. Hard to do with schedules but certainly a huge motivator and great for the safety factor. I don't have someone screaming in my face but do find motivation from this forum. Just reading a good workout or a new exercise gets the juices flowing for me. One of the best things Doug ever said on this forum was that everyone here was a training partner and I buy into that big time.
Taking it EZ for you!

You're building Fort Knox around your lower back. Yeah, your protecting it. I tip my hat to your ability to crank out that kind of volume.

I noticed that your bench de-load day in cludes what I would call heavy rack lock-outs. Do you get aching in your joints (elbows, wrists, or shoulders) from this?
I'm doing a similar routine (with about half of the weight you use ;D) where I bench on Monday, and do chains on Friday. I have, in the past, seen some deterioration over time. I'm quite a bit older than you, but would like to hear your experience with this.

thanks chancey.rockman i to feel the aches especially in the shoulders thats why i can only go a few weeks of rack lock outs at a time or i will start to go back wards but also truly believe that they help my raw as well as equipped since i am pretty good of the chest but lose in the transition these have helped me out alot as well as floor presses.
