Nice work on the pauses.
Looks like the board is set to censor your screen name for some reason.

Nice board work. Military Push Ups, is that when someone stands behind you and yells at you to do another rep?

Nice board work. Military Push Ups, is that when someone stands behind you and yells at you to do another rep? LMGO!!!!!! That's a wise decision about the weight. Quality weight gain in 6 weeks would require WAY too much mountain dew, you wouldn't be able to sleep a wink! ;D Nice workout! I always get a kick out of a guy missing a weight then coming back and nailing it! Motivational for sure! God Bless.

Strong boardwork Jim. Doesn't that feel great to come back after a miss and get the lift? I've done that on several occasions and I know it does.

I am 2 1/2 weeks from National in my other Fed. Feel that I can break my older American Record I set in March. Also can set American Records and State Records also. Feel that I am stronger than at the last meet and should do well there. Meet on June 23rd. Only gives in about 1 1/2 weeks to get ready. Have to lose about 3 pounds before then - should not be a problem.
Wish me luck.
God Bless All.

With all that training you don't need luck! 3 pounds is one good trip to the bathroom and lay off drinking anything before weigh-ins so that's not a problem. Feeling good, feeling strong, hyped, pumped, psyched, records will be SMASHED! WOO HOO!
God Bless!

Thanks everybody for the support.
Sasquatch,
I also lift in the American Drug Free Powerlifting Federation. The meet is in South Bend, IN on June 23rd.
I want to do well at this meet. I also have to get ready for the World Single Event Meet at Montesilvano (Percara) Italy on Oct. 12th. I was selected to represent on the United States Powerlifting Team there.
I have been very honored to even be considered and want to represent the USA the Best I can. I am hoping to place in the top 3 at that meet.
God willing I will be ready. I have 3 to 3 1/2 months after this meet to really train hard and believe I can get close to the World Record (which I am only about 25 lbs. off) if I work really hard.
So if anyone has any suggestions or ideas to help me please let me know. I will be changing a number of things on my workouts in the next month to try to push the weight up on my bench.
Again thanks for all the support from everyone.
God Bless.
Jim
