Felt a bit crappy today from Thursday and Fridays workouts but decided to give it a try and I was very glad I did. I set a PR on the number 7 position bench today which the way I was aching makes me wonder if you should listen to your body or not.
Bottom rack bench number 7 position 9 inches above chest. 135-5 225-3 295-1 365-1 415-1 445-1 475-1 felt good so decided for all time PR. 495-1 felt great even held for a second or 2 on top.
Close grip bench 225-5 265-4 300-3 335-2 370-1
Lying tricep extensions. 65-8 85-6 105-4 115-2
Neck harness 35-4x9
Pink band pushdowns 4x10 Reverse curls 4x10 Light one hand plate pinches

Front Squats 135-5 185-4 225-3 265-2 305-1 would have been PR but did not count since bar started to roll down on my lockout, this totally pissed me off so I tried 315 instead. 315-1 SMOKED IT FACE BITCH!

Hey buckeye thanks, I got sick about 3 weeks ago and I am still not 100 percent yet. Maybe March depending on how things fall.

Had a shitty day at work today and my workout was axactly what I needed to snap out of it.
Squats 315-5 335-4 345-3 355-2 365-1 As weight kept going up it felt lighter.
Deadlifts off 3 inch box 225-5 275-4 325-3 375-2 425-1 thought it was 415 but had loaded 2-25s over 2-5s previous set and then put 2 more 25s for last set.
Good mornings 135-5 185-5 235-5

Zimbo, just saw your comments on my log. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work. One thing I have found as I get older is that I very seldom try only 1-2 reps with a max weight. It takes too much ut of me.

Thanks Buckeye, I seem to be directly opposite as I function well on 5 or less reps and do not have any problems with singles. But I also know that everyone is different and 391 at your weight and age deserves a lot of respect.

Actually I use the cross armed method for front squats and it almost made it easier with the diameter of the bar. I would have used a regular bar but one partner was benching and the other was doing deads so I just decided to let them do their own thing and experiment with the fat bar.

Nice platform (deficit) pulls, I always love doing those, but that always seem to throw off my reg pull timing. Have you ever seen this? The issue is to get a great decitict pull i really need to drop my hips, problem is when i go back to reg pulls Im still dropping them like im on the boxes.

Did not feel that great today as i have not gottten my beauty rest this weekend and really did not feel like working out at all. It seems like my lower back was a bit inflamed. But I did my workout anyway.

Rack pulls number 2 position just below knees 225-3 315-3 405-2 455-2 485-1 515-0 Someone superglued the bar to the rack. Nothing left there.
All sets were done without belt.
