I am new to this site, I have lifted most of my life but never got into powerlifting until I turned 40. I am 52 now and still hitting lifetime PRs. My pet lift is bench but I enjoy doing Squats and Deadlifts also. My last Meet was the USAPL Michigan State Meet in October where I Squatted 440, Benched 391 and Deadlifted 501.

Been having a bit of trouble with the inside of my elbow, but besides that had a great workout.

You really put in a lot of volume with very impressive weights. Keep it up and be carefull not to over do it. It does seem to take a toll on us old guys. I hope you can handle getting compliments from a buckeye. Craig

Thanks Craig, sometimes I do over train some but it seems like I will always have aches and pains no matter if I train a little or a lot. When it comes to fellow weight lifters I can handle it, I am a Spartan fan and I am sure neither of us are real fond of the Wolverines. I do like the Buckeye workout though.

Grest workout today, after first set of military and chins I felt real rough, stuck with it and wound up with 2-PRs. Military went up real smooth maybe had 10 more in the tank. Chins were not bad for a 275 who has done nothing but over eat for the past week.

Wanted to update my log and tell what has been going on. Got into a head on collision a couple of weeks ago messed up my thumb real bad and have not been able to lift. So hopefully will be able to lift sooner than later. Our car was totaled and my wife and I were lucky to walk away with just bruises. We are both back to work and insurance took good care of us.
