Well the meet went awesome, one of the 275ers got 535 raw. The best bench with a shirt was 635, he missed on the first 2 tries and got it the third time which was a questionable lift in my opinion. But as usual the meet was a blast. My first time doing with the APF but it was so close to home I could not pass it up.

No, I went RAW in the 198s. I really wanted 320-325, but ended up with 310. If I had a shirt, I would have been gunning for 350-360. Nice to meet you!

I smell west side in the air. JM presses with 235 and bands - that is pretty savage. How do you stop that 305 halfway down? I hope your partner know what there in for. Hee Hee!

NASTY workout Donald! Gadzooks man!
Hey Rick, keep in mind that 310 @ 198 is greater than a 1.5x bodyweight raw. There is no shame in that brother!
God Bless!

Hey, I'm curious, what kind of reps' are you able to do with bodyweight? If you bother with weight that light ;D

I have done 165 pounds 30 reps and stopped but have never actually tried to see how many I can do. Of course now you have me curious how many I can do, I will try at the end of the week.

You switched to sumo and jumped in with both feet on 405? That's doggone good Donald! I only use 'em as an alternate so I've never even loaded 405 for a sumo, but I can fully appreciate the hip strength required.
Excellent workout Donald! Man, you are so daggone strong I'm going to have to start spelling your name in plural!
God Bless!

I take the over on 40 reps.
That is excellent pull let alone for a 165 pounder. As if I am not already freaked out about you benching!
oooooo! Do tell on that push/pull. Looking to demonstrate some skillz!

do you do those free? Or in a power rack or something like that?

|
Post by donaldmannion on Feb 23, 2007 5:20:28 GMT -5
I was doing them on a power rack before on a smith machine, which was a lot easier. about 50 pounds easier. Doing it yesterday with just free weights was a big difference and I really liked the feel of them yesterday too. As long as I continue to have someone to work out with I will continue to use only free weights on the floor presses.

The biggest thing seperating us is about a wheel Barrel full of double cheese burgers. Your work outs rock and one thing is for sure, I would never challenge you to a rep contest.
