"It actually a smith machine."
It doesn't matter what kind of bench, machine, rack you did that on, 315 for reps on the decline is mind boggling! Yall must have spotters or something!
:')
That is some impressive lifting, Donald!
God Bless.

Donald,
ICY HOT!!!!!!!!
If you're "starting out" squatting with 275, you will need it brother! Whoo doggy! Some day I'll share my squatting story, but that is a whopper of a load to "start out" with!
Nice pulling, all the way from the deads through the rows!
(400 crunches? Pure insanity.....)
God Bless!

Imagine if you got serious squatting. I think you put some time in it and see the weight soar up & you'll be loving them. 275 - you sandbagger!

Time to share
"My Squat Story", by Doug.
May '96, at 165, squatted 425x5 to parallel. Best set ever at any weight. Changed schools, didn't lift again until Feb '97, 9 months "deload" phase. That Feb, I decided I'd squat light, oh just 185 for 3x10. Piece of cake, right? For seven days every time I took a step I felt like someone was stabbing me in the legs with a red hot fork.
I feel your pain!!!!!!
Hope you get past it soon!
God Bless.

Power Tech Bench Press Lock outs. Here is a link for you that don't know what it is. www.powertecfitness.com/multi_press.htm Awesome piece of equipment and they guarantee it for the life time. I was using 600 pound of weights on it and it starting bending. I thought the specs where 1000 pounds but I called power tec and they said it was 500 but sent me a new one for free and no shipping charge either. I like it because I can bench without needing a spotter. Anyways. Lock outs - I was bored 90 X 10 180 X 10 270 X 6 360 X 6 410 X 5 450 X 5

You know Don, I almost joked about you needing to work your squat soreness out with more squats the next day like you do with your bench. You don’t disappoint.
Bored did some lockouts with 450. Good idea, cuz I don’t think you get enough training in. ;D
Nice looking press thingie. How does the weight translate to similar free weight lifts? I love the adjustments. I would like to see it handle more than 500 pounds but I like it!

Because it is a fixed weight that goes up evenly unlike freeweights there is a difference. I would say about 50-75lbs.

I admire your doing squats to work out the soreness!
I'm kind of scratching my head thinking about doing 450 pound lockouts because you were bored.... I reckon THAT would break the monotony......
Wow. I hope someday I happen to be at a meet and get to see you bench!
God Bless.

Claremont, southern part on the Connecticut River. We will no doubt cross paths soon. I may not compete in some of these local events but I may stop in to cheer folks on. It would really be great to see you do one of the RAW events. Bench Press only coming up in march in Burlington. My personal belief, you’re a potential terror at all 3 lifts at 165.

I am going to compete in Manchester at an APF meet on 2/17 and probably this summer up in Maine with the APA. With March just around the corner I want to work on my RAW a little more especially in the deadlift. I am hoping the RAW federation is going to have something closer to home and later this year. I am looking forward to meeting a lot of people from this federation, everyone seems so nice and helpful.
Take care
Don
