What is your thought process with reps/sets/weight on your assistance work? Seems like it's exactly the same +/- 5lbs every-time.

Took some time off because of shoulder issues but am back in the gym. Getting ready for a competition in September.

Competition from 9-14-13 was successful. Weighed in at 211.4 which is the lowest I have weighed for a competition in over 11 years.Opened with 347 which set a Virginia state record for 220# 60-64.Second attempt was 369 which set a new world record for 60-64 then went to 374# which was also good.Asked for a 4th attempt which was also good at 380#. Had plenty in the tank and my wife teased me for being too conservative.My wife is a real trooper as she spent our 29th anniversary watching me compete.
