Not bad for those whoopersnappers either! Many things. First off, cool new pic! I'm getting motivated to try me a new do! :') Second off, nice work on the legs, bro! Glad the knees are letting you squat once again. That's good stuff! Last off, well DANG, I reckon you are sore! That workout was off the charts! Even for a 350+ bencher like yourself.
Man, I'm glad you're back around posting. I get motivated.
God Bless. Doug

well thank ya partner! glad i motivate ya man. You motivate me too. I am loving this routine very much, the strength gains are coming nicely. Cool thing is, is that when i put in the 5 rep max on each lift, according to the "math" it gives me, i should be benching 350lbs for 5 at the end of week 10, (i am on week 2). A 350lb x 5 bench would be a 408lb 1 rep max!!! sweet azz! I am looking forward to it BIG time.

I quess it just isnt meant to be. Every single time I try to start training for a meet, some kinda crap happens that stops me. This time it's $$ I lost my job and workmans comp aint paying so i cant afford the gym, diet or supplements anymore. Well, not for a while anyway. I am pissed! I was doing so very well too! Oh, well. Maybe after my move to Kansas City and we get settled and all that jazz i can yet start again....hopefully

It really sucks that I have to stop training...again. I am beginning to think something or someone doesnt want me to lift. As far as jobs, I have 1 or 2 hopefulls. My wife has a job already at KCTV5. All we need now is for me to find a job and an appartment/house. Not to mention the $$$ to move. It will be cheaper for us to sell everything and start over than to rent a Uhual and drive it there. I may make a sign that says "Moving to Missouri, please donate money to help my family get there, will work for moving money" lol Hey, you never know, it may work!

Just be patient, everything will work out. I had kind of the same thing happen to me about 6 years ago. I had to move away in order to come back to where I live to get my current job. I had to go through some pains in order to get where I am at now.
Good Luck Dominic

Blonde Joke
The other day my neighbor, who is blonde, came running up to me in the driveway just jumping for joy! I didn't know why she was jumping for joy, but I thought, what the heck, and I starting jumping up and down along with her. She said, "I have some really great news!" I said, "Great, tell me why you're so happy." She stopped jumping, and breathing heavily from all the jumping up and down, told me that she was pregnant! I knew that she had been trying for a while so I told her, "That's great! I couldn't be happier for you!" Then she said, "There's more." I asked, "What do you mean 'more'?" She said, "Well, we are not having just one baby. We are going to have TWINS!" Amazed at how she could know so soon after getting pregnant, I asked her how she knew. She said........................."Well, that was the easy part. I went to Wal-Mart and they actually had a home pregnancy kit in a twin-pack. Both tests came out positive!"

ok fellas, as you know i have been going through some tuff times but I have to keep training. I have let my personal problems hold me down for over a week now. So I got my azz up off the couch and hit the gym!
SQUAT 185lbs x 5 205lbs x 5 255lbs x 5 285lbs x 5 315lbs x 4...almost got 5!
BENCH 185lbs x 5 225lbs x 5 245lbs x 5 275lbs x 5 285lbs x 5
BB ROWS 135lbs x 5 185lbs x 5 205lbs x 5 225lbs x 5 235lbs x 5
Accessories Calves 300lbs x 60 reps
This workout really kicked my ace! I was gasping for breath! I was toasted! I was suppose to do situps and weighted hypers but after taking a week off i really wasnt able to muster up the will power and energy.
Feel great now, going to eat chineese buffet to celebrate. lol

YAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! What a workout! Capitol Intensity! That, my friends, is one good way to make up for lost time. Nice work on the squats, bro. Glad to see those knees are letting you hit a little lower body stuff! If you go to the www.rawpowerlifting.com website, I think there's an article there entitled "Squatting for your bench" or something like that. And I hope that's where I recall seeing that article. That 405 goal may get a little boost from the renewed attention to the squatting. Great workout, bro! God BLess. Doug

Thanks bro. I have always believed that squats helped increase all lifts, so by being able to squat a little now my bench should be taking off fairly well. Will post tomorrows workout if i can go to the gym, my 12 year anniversary is Sunday so we may celebrate Saturday, not sure, i hope to celebrate tonight so i can hit the gym tomorrow. The wife and i have been together 15years total married for 12. what a lucky woman.
