Hello everyone I am new to this forum but not new to RAW powerlifting. I can no longer dead or squat due to multiple injuries and surguries. With a titanium cage and multiple fusions in my neck i am no longer able to put weight on my back under the fusion. So now I only compete in benchpress competitions. I am now recovering from yet another surgury(L. leg) but still training for a possible upcoming meet. I work out with several RAW lifters that show some great numbers and should be stiff competion for everyone. I used to compete in a benchshirt but had a bad push and the spotter missed the bar. 500+ landed along my neck, my arms were trapped because of the shirt and I was unable to get the weight away from me. Yep, it stings a bit. Now I have no use for using a shirt and bench more RAW then I did with a shirt on. I feel safer and had to change my training a bit to accomidate for the relief a shirt gives one's joints. Well anyway, look forward to talking and competing with you guys! Me hitting 465lbs with a pause in the gym Fatty

Welcome! Glad you are here!
MAN what a list of injuries! My hat is OFF to you for sticking with it! And that's a mighty fine bench.
Hope you have a great time here at the forum!
God Bless. Doug P.
