i was just curious as to what everyones opinion on floor press is. and for those who do floor press on a regular basis, do you find you can do more or less on the floor than on regular flat bench?

I like to do floor presses close grip for a tricep workout. My floor press is less than my regular bench but catching up quickly.

I guess the answer is both. If you follow the West Side template then this could be a ME exercise for the Bench Press day. It is an assistance exercise for the Bench Press either way. Assistance in that it will help build a bigger Bench Press.
