Sound legitimate to me as long as your Squatting and doing some other form of DL assistance, as the author points out. Good article - could save some backs.

I found along time ago that my deads respond best to singles and doubles training. The only thing I get out of deadlift reps is sore hips. If you don't do dead singles, you will not be properly trained for meet day conditions.
