I have heard and read a bit on setting up your bench press. Most people will just lay down on the bench, grab the bar and press. I am quilty of this myself. For years I have benched the same way and have really never made much progress.
I was reading that there is a propper way to set up for your bench. Its rather long but in short...sit on bench, feet wide and behind you, arch back and try to drive traps into bench, traps, butt and head is all that should be on the bench.
This is suppose to decrease the weights ROM and possibly add more poundage to your bench as well. My question is, I have a RAW meet with the USAPL on May 13th in Charlotte, NC. I wanted to know if this federation does this type of benching?
Is there a link to some videos that will show me this style of benching? I am going for 350lbs, I would say I am at 325lbs to 335lbs right now so if this style of benching is allowed and will add a bit more weight to my bench, then I am all for it.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

visit elitefts.com and read any of the benching articles from dave tate or bench like a stripper from Jim Wendler. any of the metal militia stuff will help as well.

I have lifted raw in the USAPL - arch is fine - butt and shoulders on the bench and feet must be on the floor and can not move after the start command
