Hey, Chris. I think what most folks in this fed would say is "Yep, you're ready." There are no losers in this fed. Every meet I've ever been to with 100% RAW has been filled with folks who support, encourage, spot, help, whomever they stop and chat with. And with a dude who's been lifting for 8 months and has a 275 bench and 405 dl, oh yeah!!!
My first meet with 100% RAW was in July '03. I had trained for powerlifting for....about 6 weeks. When I got there, I had the feeling of more like a family reunion or a Church picnic, where everyone was helpful and polite, despite the fact a half-dozen or so teenagers outlifted me. :')
I'll sum it up like this: when you download a flyer for an upcoming meet, and your hair stands up on the back of your neck, you're ready!
God Bless. Doug P.

Yes, and even if you had less training numbers, it wouldn't matter because if this is your first meet your going to have to experience what you did right and wrong; heck, this will take a few meets; you will have to learn how to peak for the meet, and only going and doing the meet will you get the experience yourself, no amount of WWW time is going to cut it, #2 your going to have to experience doing an official lift vs. a gym lift; two different animals altogether. #3 Forget if your going to place last, your goal is to learn how to peak, what's expected, the lifting tempo, the mood and attitude of the lifters/crowd, etc., the rules and procedures, the warmup--the list goes on. Forget the excuses of I didn't have time to prepare for this meet so I'm pulling out we see so many times over in lifters who seem on the WWW so excited to talk about some projected numbers they say they did in the past and want to pull 600 or whatever and haven't even did a 500 training sq or dl--just do it.
