Hello all, back in June I had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, labrum, and some debridgement. Fun summer without the use of my right arm! Not only could I not do much of anything, let alone lift, I couldn't even ride my motorcycle! Well last week was my 4 month check and with no pain, or restriction of movement in sight, I am back in the gym! My doctor did caution me that it takes a FULL 6 months to completely heal, so while I'm squating with moderate weight, and I'm only benching and deadlifting with little more than an empty bar. It sure feels good to be back in the gym and feel the bar in my hands again, even if I'm a LONG way from where I left off. Hope to see some action in the form of competition this coming March!

Welcome Back! We have all had to bench the bare bar at one time or another.
