Chest day. I have avoided bench due to the surgery. So today is the first true bench day since June. Machine chest press 70 x 3 x 10 cybex fly machine 90,100,110 x 10 free weight bench 90 x 10 (x 3) pain at the bottom on down stroke and on the press at 4 inches off bottom with the arrival of an old gym idol I upped my weight as we re-lived some of the old days of the gym 135 x 10 (x2) Incline bench 90 x 10 x(2) Knee high pin deadlifts 220 x 10 315 x 6 405 x 4 495 x 2 585 x 1 605 x 1

You might want to try board presses for your bench. Maybe start out with very light warm-ups at the bottom, then add boards as you increase the weight and then eventually decrease the # of boards you use...
