At any event, even the worlds, more than half of the competitors are locals to the region. The reason of course is it is expensive to travel so it’s easier for people who are closer to attend that it is people who are farther away. So raw came up with this great Idea, the American Challenge. There are numerous events held all over the country the country at the same time (well actually it over a 2 or 3 week period) and people across the country can actually compete with each other without the expense of traveling. And, there ends up being 4 or 5 hundred competitors. It’s a very cool concept.

Its especially great for teams as well, because most areas will only have one team, but for the American Challenge you go againist the other teams in the Federation... I will be attending in 2013...either in Md or Va....
