This last couple years, I've had nerves pinch for anywhere from 2-6 months at a time. Started with one deep in the forearm that hurt when I bench (6 mo), have had a couple in the shoulders, and not in the area I had the articulation problem, one in the hip.... Now there's one deep under my lower left trap that has gotten much worse since we came to visit family and sleep on an airbed; it's excruciating. Massage or any traditional treatments don't help, and stretching just seems to aggravate it - it's gotten debilitating, so I'm on an unplanned deload right now.
Anyone know of any tricks for this? I'm making a VA appointment, but doubt they'll do anything, and it will be probably a month before they'll see me. I have work coming in Feb. I need to get ready for. This sux. Chiropractor at my church thinks it's my neck, but a.) I've NEVER had any problems with this bullneck, and b.) Chiropractors think EVERYTHING is caused by the spine. Maybe I'm just falling apart.

Advil, ICE , and rest, thats what helped mine mostly the ice helped me in your case since you have lots of all over body I would get a few bags load up that tub and jump in, your nerves are inflamed hopefully not to the point where you might need surgery , but give the ICE a try. you have to fight through that feeling of cold it is hard but it does help. doi it couple of times in a week fill up the tub with cold water then throw a couple of bags in a jump in. up to you how many bags and how cold you want it .
