Might be a dumb question but I do not know, Competeing for first time in Bloomington meet in IL, will be my first meet. Just need to know if a wrestling singlet was ok to wear or if there is a difference, I will probaly compete in 40+ class and open class. Thanks for any help offered.

For all intents they are the same thing so there should be no problems. Good luck on you first meets! Just keep these two things in mind Low ball you openers! and most importantly, have fun.

Good luck and take heed to dbunch's advice. Open wisely and get on the board. Then you can jump as much as you want.

Thanks everyone for the advise offered, I opened up low to get on board then took off from there, I only red lighted once on my bench but I went for max on second and last lift and was able to beat my own personal best on Squat and Dead lift. Most importantly everyone there was just awesome to be around and I had a great time almost had more fun meeting other lifters than lifting itself ;D

When you are involved in a fringe sport it's always nice to meet other like minded folks. Congrats on a well planned & succesful meet.
