What is the best type of meal to eat the night before a powerlifting meet? I keep thinking pasta or some other type of carb with some protein as well. I am on track with this thinking?
Also, how about breakfast the day of? PB and jelly toast maybe? I would appreciate any help on this.

I normally cut back on carbs for a few days before a meet and then load up on a full pasta meal the night before - spaghetti, ziti, lasagna, cannelloni or something along those lines. I like to make sure my glycogen reserves are topped off.
For breakfast on meet day I prefer oatmeal and some fruit. I then try to eat something about every hour as the meet goes on.

I just went to Spaghetti Works after I weighed in tonight and loaded up. I haven't had hardly any carbs since Tuesday. I have oatmeal, so I will have to take your advice on that one too and see how it goes. I bought a box of powerbars for tomorrow. I am doing bench only, so I won't need to eat as often as you, but I will probably eat one or two about a half hour before my first lift. Thanks for the advice.
