Well, I finally took my super yoke out into the road this Saturday. I marked out 60 feet. First time down and back with 365. Second time down and back with 505. Had my kids time me and did it in 30 seconds. That was TOUGH. Second toughest thing was stripping off the weight and carrying it back into my garage. I felt like throwing up the rest of the day. I impressed myself even being able to walk with it and felt 2 inches shorter when it was over, but it was worth it. I was going to do farmers walk after, but thought I'd start in a little slow. It was very fun and can't wait to do some of it again. Maybe some farmer pulls at night after my back routine. Some grip work etc. also. Sometime here going to order some atlas stone molds and build some platforms. Wish me luck! Hopefully my neighbors put up with me.

That is very cool Aaron. Great job. 500# is a good weight to be walking with. Your speed will come in time. The yoke really works the hips and core. Remember to stay very tight in the core when doing it, it will help tremendously.
Also, see if you can get some pallet racking from a shelving supply store. That is what most of us use. It is very inexpensive and will hold up to any stones, kegs, etc. that you would want to load on to it. Once you get the racking, all you have to do is fit some 2x6's in it for the platform/loading part.
