But, Weech is no stranger to podium finishes; he has two WPC Junior World Championships under his belt, a RAW powerlifting World Championship and an 828.5 # raw squat world record. "Not only is this kid strong, but he can move, "said ASC VP Mike Johnston. "Scott ran with the 950# yoke and easily finished a very tough deadlift medley. Weech lives in Florida with his wife who is expecting their first child. He is an entrepreneur involved in a start-up, family owned electrical contracting business. Weech cut his teeth on the NAS Florida strongman scene, which has now produced five HW ASC Pros. He has spent the last year rehabilitating a biceps injury and preparing for the Carolina Strongman Classic and a chance to win his ASC Pro status. "I know that I am relatively new to the sport, and I am excited to compete against the best that American Strongman has to offer. I am confident that my strength will measure up. I have some technique to work on, but I will be ready for St. Pat’s. I will be training very hard.
