im 36 and my chlrestorol levels went up and i would like advice on a good protein strength and power building diet plan
i love red meat eggs milkand all the good stuff to build power
i guess i need to start eating more oatmeal fish tuna and plants
i would like to keep building more muscle and power but would like to stay as healthy as possible too can you have both?
im sure there is many that struggle w/ the same problem
i should probably supplement fish oil also
any and all advice would be great hope this thread doesnt just fizzle out thanks in advance

Wouldn't worry too much about the red meat & eggs, I eat them for 4-6 meals a week (combined) with no issues. A lot of the more recent studies have shown that diet is a smaller contributing factor than was previously believed. I was able to drop my chloresterol by 41 points by supplementing with fish oil (Nature Made Omega-3 Fish Oil 1200 mg) with no other dietary changes. Obviously everyone's different but the fish oil really worked for me. Hope those numbers drop (Wow, never thought I'd say that to another powerlifter )

I to have found out that mine is high, HAZEL NUTS IF YOU CAN FIND THEM IS GREAT, THEY ARE SUGGESTED BY ALOT OF PEOPLE WHO KNOW THERE STUFF GOOGLE THE 2 TOGETHER(CHLORETEROL AND HAZEL NUTS)

thanks sasquatch and i did read some articles and will read more on that as well as trying to eat some of those nuts.
i hope to even get more remarks and replies to further improve my knowledge of this Duckies chlorestorol bull crap
but im optimistic and hope to learn how to improve strength n power and my health at the same time.if i learn to get more sucessful at this i may be able to help someone else to but i realize everybody is different.
nice thing about this forum is lifters improving lifters that is AWESOME!!!!
