Curious if anyone can point me toward the webpage or where the list of supplements approved are? On the Rawmart link below there is information leading toward a list of supp's or that some list is approved. Below is the link and text www.rawpowerlifting.com/rawmart.htm 100% RAW ApprovedTo help prevent confusion and uncertainty over which OTC supplements are banned or may cause you to test positive, we've developed a 100% Raw Approved rating for various sports and dietary supplements.
All products marked "100% RAW Approved" have been examined by our resident sports nutritionist and management to ensure that they are free of hormonal and steroidal agents. Thanks

That is one of the questions that I was wondering also. There are so many supplements out there that can cause positive testing results. Right now I am not taking anything to include protein shakes. I want to find a good protein shake that can help increase my wieghtlifting abilities. I want to do it the right and RAW way.

There aren't protein powders that are going to make you test positive for anything. You just need a good WPI (Whey Protein Isolate) protein powder. NOW WPI, NytroWhey, etc are all good and will provide you the protein you need.

Well, there's a difference between Whey Protein Isolate & Whey Protein Concentrate. So, it doesn't really matter the brand name IMO, just check the ingredients on the back. Make sure WPI is the 1st protein ingredient and preferably WPC being the second (you don't want high amounts of Soy Protein, etc). I like NytroWhey by ProSource, which is a higher dollar protein, but you can also use a value protein like Optimum Nutrition (~20/2lbs).
Good Luck

Regardless of a previous post there are been several instances of tainted protein powders that have lead to suspensions. The lifter had no idea until the test came back. Then had the powder checked and sure enough it was the source. Just make sure you stick with a known brand that has been cleared by at least two organizations. Really be careful of overseas or cut rate brands.

There have been cases of supplements testing positive for tren and for nandrolone within the last year. The above advice about sticking to proven products from reputable companies is pure gold.
One of the biggest hassles when it comes to trying to decipher ingredient lists of supps is 'proprietary blends'. Anything can be hidden behind that moniker. Another problem is when supp manufacturers combine 2 or 3 chemicals - some of which may be banned - and give the combination a whole new name.
The above reference to 100% RAW approved products was put up by a previous associate of 100%. I have spoken to Paul about it and he is going to have it removed. Because of the unregulated nature of the supplement industry, 100% cannot recommend or vouch for any supplement. Unfortunately, the supplement industry is currently a prime example of caveat emptor .
Several months ago, Paul asked me to develop comprehensive drug and testing guidelines for 100%. I was almost finished recently when lightning melted my hard drive and wiped out hours of work. As soon as I get my computer replaced, I will get this done and get it to Paul so he can get it placed on our homepage.

Really be careful of overseas or cut rate brands. My apologies, I may have worded my post wrong. Of the 100% WPIs (NOW, NytroWhey, WheyIsolate) none have substances that will make you test positive, as they are just simply WPI Protein. There are brands out there that put a lot of different things in their proteins (MuscleTech, BSN, etc) that could result in a positive test. But, I believe the straight WPIs, with no "Proprietary Blends" are generally safe. NOW's WPI ingredients: Cross-Flow Microfiltered Whey Protein Isolate, Fructose, Natural Flavors, Xanthan Gum, Lecithin and Stevia Herbal Extract. This should be fine for any PL'er correct? 3Speed, please, correct me if I'm wrong, as I do not want to share bad info.
