Ok I see you got Hammer on board with the heavy rep to finish. Do you have some system - what you rep with, what you go heavy with how do you cycle your work? Thanks Jim.

9-17-07 Squats-(bwt 321.5) Todays workout went great with a few PR's to go with it. I had to drive an hour from the house to the gym with the squat jack. Then I jumped in my truck and went an hour the other way to the second gym for the rest of my workout.
Raw (just a belt & Knee Sleeves) The 445 is a PR for my work sets 235x10 345x10 last 1 pause 445x5 445x5 445x5 445x5 last 1 pause 550x2 This was a big PR for me also
Add 5lbs on next squat day 9-23-07
Pin Pulls in power rack (bar at knees) 500x3 600x1 650x1 650x0 I was pushing my luck on the second one.......
4 set of 5 Leg Curls 210 Rear delts 55 DB Shoulders press (machine) 260 using the stack so I need to up the reps to 7 Shrugs 495 U.R. Rows 145 Pull Downs front (machine) 220 using the stack so I need to up the reps to 7 T- Rows 135 Seated Rows (machine) 220

Thanks guys....As far as "You are one dedicated lifter!", I don't think those are the words that my wife uses (nuts, crazy, insane..etc) but thanks any way. I have no other bad habits(smoking, drinking...etc) execpt my lifting. With me being in Law Enforcement the lifting keeps me healthy and safe.

9-21-07 Bench-(bwt 318) I'm not sure what is going on with my bench. Its not going anywhere, it may because of my BWT dropping. The scale I have is old so I went and got a new one. I plan on making some slight adjustments to the numbers at the bottom and top to see if that will help.
Raw (just a belt) all 7 sets were done in 20 min. 135 x10 last 1 pause 275x10 last 1 pause 335x5 last 1 pause 335x4 335x4 335x4 385x1 Didn't get all 4sets of 5reps so the next bench day will be the same 9-27-07

Dropping weight doesn't help but not loosing ground while doing so is a good sign. It'll probably jump once you get to a stable bwt.

9-23-07 Squats-(bwt 323.0) The squats went well today but they kicked my donkey. When I got to the deads I think the tank was just about empty.
Sit up 65
Raw (just a belt & Knee Sleeves) The 450 is a PR for my work sets 275x10 no belt 365x6 When I finish the set it hit me that the two warm ups were done without a belt 450x5 450x5 450x5 450x5 575x1/4 to 1/2 I took a crack at this today for a new PR in the gym. But the 450 took a lot out of me so I cut it short. I hope to take it for a ride on the next Squat day.
Add 5lbs on next squat day 10-1-07
Deads 500x3 600x1 600x2 650x0 I don't think it even came off the floor
Shrug 495x5
At this point I had done all I was going to do.
PS Ron, Congrats on the 462lb bench at the IPF World Master Bench Contest. I can only hope to have those kind of numbers when I get as young as you. Great job partner

Strong lifting jimp. Sets of 5 will use up the reserves in a hurry.
I train all 3 lifts on one day once a week. Doing deads right after squat is dang near impossible. I found if I put the bench in between them, it allows me to recharge a little. I have no problem with the deads when I work them that way.

Thanks..........The squats are just warm ups for the deadlift. It took a while before the body stop saying " Hades No". But after you do it for awhile it works great. I'm working midnights this month and didn't get much sleep before the work out so I'm sure that palyed a big part in it.
Stay Strong Jim P

9-27-07 Bench-(bwt 325) May a few adjustments today on my bench to get it a kick start. I moved my hand out wider. Dropped my heavy set 20lbs so I can get more reps out of it.

10-01-07 Squats-(bwt 323.8) Its that time of month when I witch back to day work again. Had about three and a half hours sleep after I got off this morning. I'm working day work tomorrow so I cut the work out shot.
Sit up 65
Raw (just a belt & Knee Sleeves) The 455 is a PR for my work sets 275x10 365x8 455x5 455x5 455x5 455x5 575x1 Well my spotters tell me I went down searching for the bottom. They gave me parallel by the skin of my teeth for the squat. It took everything I had to get back up.
Add 5lbs on next squat day 10-6-07
Ron Beuch had an outstanding PR raw squat at 365lbs today.........Wow, it looked great
