I hope you get better faster than I did. I had it Sunday, with a fever and a headache. Still not right.
Best of luck Saturday. It's probably far enough away so that it won't affect your strength.

I decided against jokingly saying that you would at least make weight. So it super good all around. Best of luck.

Have not yet typed the official results yet, but we had a really fun meet. Only had 12 lifters show, but 10 were high school kids that were really fun to watch. Had one kid, a 198er who was 17 or 18 I believe hit a 305! I only got my 305 opener though. tried 310 twice but was still feeling the virus from earlier in the week. best lifter was an EMT from Jackson who hit a STRONG 405 @ 227 btw! Full results should be up on the site by middle to end of the week. Well, its back into my BENCH SHIRT Monday!!!! enjoying my raw stuff, but my ego wants to start moving 500 again. yall have a great rest of your weekend. chad

HS kids are always fun to watch, ESPECIALLY when they hit a PR. That 405@227 is SA-WEET!
(Already going back heavy today? Man, take a deload week!)
:')
Glad you had a good meet, even right after the flu! I can't wait to see the results when you bench healthy.
God Bless.

Will start my 6 week prep cycle today to get ready for nationals in Monroe, LA april 15th. I'll just continue posting on this log till I finish the cycle. Wish me luck, as this is the most important cycle I have done in my bench training so far. I am planning on breaking the submasters national record for **** federation (not sure if the I can put the name) and going after the world record for submasters at the same meet. national record is 506, which I will get and the world mark is 532 I believe. The meet is drug tested (10% just like 100% raw) and I am very excited. later. chad

westside barbell guys and ryan kennelly do these all the time. basically, it is a DB extension where you bring the DB back beside your head and roll the elbows to stretch the tris and explode back to full extension. something like that. hope that helps. chad

Thanks for the rolling DB tricep ext. explanation. I bet you could easily throw together a workout or 2 of exercises I've never done. Super board work. You made it look EZ

505 by 3? ? I'd have trouble doing that as a rack lockout. Unbelievably strong.
