Whats up everyone. Names Kevin, i'm from Fairfield, CT up in good ol' new england. I've been lifting for about 4 years and powerlifting for 1 of them. I'm currently 18 and competing in the 165 lb weightclass. I'm real interested in competing in RAW only divisions since i've been competing in APA meets RAW for a little while now. Its just kinda lame being the only one there without any equipment but it just seems cheap to me. Hopefully i'll be able to fly down to one of these RAW meets at some point. Looking forward to learning some new things.

Hey, Kevin. Welcome! Those are some incredible numbers for a 165# teen! And at the end of a meet, you can tell folks how much YOU can lift, not how much your equipment can lift! Awesome! There are several guys (and gals) from up around the NE area that are getting into the fed. I know one of the best masters lifters I've ever met is from PA. Doc Junkins. With the growth the fed has experienced since Bud started his campaign, it won't be long before you won't have to fly anywhere to lift. Heck, you may be able to walk!
Keep training hard!
God Bless. Doug P.
