I read the analysis of the Norwegian Frequency Project before the details were redacted and I have a copy of the e-book by Martjin Koevoets that goes into some detail on the ins and outs of high frequency training. I also have Squat Every Day by Matt Perryman and The Bulgarian Method by Greg Nuckols. I also read every article about John Broz's style of training I could find. I have been very interested in this type of training for several years.
This training method is extremely effective if it is set up correctly and IF you can handle the volume both physically and mentally. However, in my opinion, it should not be considered a long term training strategy. It should be one block, one segment of a larger properly periodized training outline. And, it definitely should only be used by experienced lifters who have experience with high volume training.
There is no ONE BEST TRAINING SYSTEM. There are different levels of training experience and I do not mean how long you have been training - I am referring to how you respond (progress) to training. The different levels require different training approaches and the High Frequency/High Intensity approach should be taken only after careful planning by only highly experienced lifters. I know this will fall on deaf ears for most who read it but the biggest mistake most lifters make is trying to run routines of the elite level lifters when they should just be in the gym doing work.

Yea, Woody I agree. I've done hf/hv as well and it is very effective for a short time. It is highly beneficial in a block of training.
The difficulty is knowing how to manage the volume and for how long. I've found for myself that if I do it too long I end up getting lethargic and the gains will stop. That's when it's time to deload and do something else.
