This is my first post and Id like to say hello and thank you for accepting me into your community. I look forward to learning from you all and I plan to become a valued member of your community.
Im currently leaving a job in the Army for another that will finally afford me the opportunity/time to accomplish a life long goal of competing in powerlifting. I am a novice and have a lot to learn.
I have been bodybuilding for the last 10 years, nothing to serious just for fun because I enjoy lifting. However my love in the gym is the big 3, that is where my motivation has come from to all ways want to compete in a powerlifting competition.
I am 31 years old 5'10 200lbs 12-15%
Pause Press 315
Squat 350 Embarrassing
Dead 405 Embarrassing
Nutrition is on point! My wife is a nutritionalist so she has my nutrition almost to on point sometimes.
Currently I'm sitting 3000 calories 300 grams of protein 300 grams of carbs and fat 66 grams
My first program that I have settled on is the Brandon Lilly's The Cube. If you guys could offer me any preliminary advice it would be greatly appreciated.
My routine is right out of the cube. Monday Squat, Wednesday Bench, Friday Deads and Saturday is my auxiliary day. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday is light cardio. I wish I could just pack on the weight but I can't at this point in my life because I'm in the Army and have to maintain a certain level of cardiovascular endurance.
Like I said any help will be greatly appreciated and I look forward to becoming a valued member of your community.
