Hi all, relocating from south Fl to west Tn for a job relocation. Now that it's impossible to fish offshore, I've been spending a lot more time getting into my other passion, power lifting. I'm 30yrs old and have a stay at home wife watching over our two little miracles, 1yr old son and 3.5yr old daughter. Life is good.
What drew me to this forum was the "raw" aspect. Looking forward to getting educated and hopefully reciprocating anything I can. I started lifting weights at 14yrs old and haven't stopped or taken a break in the last 16yrs. I competed bench and clean and jerk in highschool and bench only throughout college. I weigh 153, so I guess I would compete in the 165 weight class if anything opens up locally. My new gym PR as of last wk is 405lbs.
One question on my mind, anyone familiar with Smolov Jr. routine for bench? It was just brought to my attention and looked interesting, but I wanted to hear some first hand positive experience before incorporating it.

I just watched your bench video and I have to say that you have achieved amazing strength. I tried the Smolov squat routine a few years ago and it is simply a meat grinder of a routine that tore me up. Never tried Smolov Jr for bench.
