Was trying to hit my thighs. And didn't want to use the hip adductor machine. So I tried ham drag or weighted side step or plate drag. Don't really know the name to it. youtu.be/qNjwGDYOEx0I drag the plate without kicking it

That is called an adductor plate slide. It works all three of the adductors to help prevent groin injuries. It isn't a hamstring exercise.

I thought the adductor Magnus was part of the hamstring.
Well now I know the name of the exercise. Adductor plate slide.
What if I slide the plate diagonally backward. Example for right leg. Slide the plate toward the rear of the left leg.
Would this still hit the adductor Magnus and more of the general hamstring?
