This is weird but I don't use my belt for support anymore. I use it for a different purpose now. In a weird way too.
I use it just to check my form. Like if I round my back or arch too much during DL and squat.
I wear it right below my ribs and lose enough to breath. But tight enough so that I do round or over arch it rips off.
I'm trying sumo dead lift and grip outside my legs. Weights are easier to lift off but locking at the top is harder for some reason.

Sumo deadlifts with your grip outside? It must be near impossible to be in a good position for a decent lockout.

That guy was a bit of a strange bird (original poster) and his account has been deactivated for some reason, so I wouldn't pay all that much mind to his post. lol FWIW if you're gonna try and grip outside your legs on a sumo pull, you better have the narrowest stance acceptable to still be considered sumo, along with the shortest legs ever created, and arms like an orangutan. In short, don't try it. It would take snatch grip to a different level, to where you'd probably risk dislocating both shoulders. haha
