Zekester: That seems to follow ryandelmans thinking...the higher the bench the more beneficial that heel in the arch. His post gave me analytical food for thought! The "ifs" didnt apply, and Chucks are my preffered, but his post will resonate the next time someone asks me that question!

Good morning all/George, I see you say you will be attending the police and fire games in Northern United States...are you police or fire? Wish I could be there....Frontier Emergency Response Team...Specializing in industrial fire fighting involving oil, gas, and chemicals.

I find that feiyue shoes are one of best shoes if you're going for the barefoot feel without getting vibrams or going barefoot. They're $25-$35 depending on if you get low top or hightop. They have no support what so ever, just a thin layer of rubber to cover the bottom of the foot. They're ridiculously flexible, tyou could fold them in half and put em in your pocket and they'll snap back. The shoes were designed for kung fu practitioners and a lot of parkour enthusiasts wear them because of the foot to ground connection they give you. My number one shoes for efficiency, comfort, and cost.
