Ive started using fatgripz, to simulate using a fat-bar, in my shoulder presses and nose-breakers {have used them before with ez bar curl}...What do you think of training with a fat bar/fatgripz to help increase strength?

I thought fat grip was only for pull exercises

Ive seen more info on it involving pressing movements that pulling. The only pulling Ive seen done with it is with curls...Ive used it for 1 arm dumbell rows...

I’ve used them on just about every lift at one time or another. They work better on some than they do on others. What I get out of them is just a better overall grip.

Ive read and been told, that by opening the hand it isolates the muscles being worked more, especially on biceps & triceps. Going to give them a good try for awhile so I can make a solid judgement on them...

i had an olympic bar at home that has a slightly bigger diameter than a texas deadlift bar. made a huge difference when it came meet time. the competition bar felt like a toothpick in comparision.
fat bar stuff works well - probably physically with grip and mentally just makes you feel like a beast if you train often enough with it.
