on bench, 200 and 300, wasnt a big deal for me. i just climbed over it. since a few people in my gym wriggle with 3 plates (315) I talked to one guy who got close to 500 before blowing his shoulders. this was the only guy i met in my whole life that could get close to 500. i dont travel much.
so getting into 400 club was a deal for me. on the day when i attempted 400, i was so nervous that i got kinda gassy but i didnt. thank god cause i think i would of destroy the place.
not only did i had butterflies, everyone at the gym stopped and watch.
the set was 1x400 but the goal was 2x400. if i was able to do 2 reps of 400 i think i could have done 410 at that time.
but no. i got the first one easy and then on the second rep, half way up i just let go, since i made it into the 400 club.
so on the next club attempt. i might just do it at a friends house. it might ease the pressure. especially if i had farted. game over. that would of been embarrassing.
