I'm not sure what I was expecting, I have only squatted heavy a hand full of time because of my groin the last month or so, and I completely pushed bench and deadlift too heavy yesterday.......oh, well. I'm glad I did this anyways, it's been way too long since I've run a sport form day.

At least you have an idea of where you are at and what you need to do. No athlete can remain at peak performance all year round and you will be fine. Just keep doing what you are doing and hitting your cycles and you will continue to improve.

Diet played a big roll in how this went this morning, down a solid 10lbs in bw from any sports form day in the past, and maybe 5-6 lbs lighter then any meet day too. With that said, im really happy the direction the squat is going lighter bw or not. 465 would have tied a sportform squat PR, need to switch up the bench routine for sure that's been a mess since week-2 of this training cycle, and Im on the fence about mixing up the deadlift scheme again.
