Hey guys, I am new to the board here. I signed up because I want to make a run at the strict curl world record, and I want to chart my progress here.
Here is the workout I did today
Standing EZ-Bar curls done against the wall, following the rules which I printed out from this site.
Warm up - 55lbs for ten reps
Set 1 - 85lbs for ten reps
Set 2 - 105lbs for ten reps
Set 3 - 125lbs for eight reps, could not get the last two without breaking the rules
Set 4 - 105lbs for ten reps
Set 5 - 85lbs for ten reps
Set 6 - 85lbs for ten reps
Set 7 - 85lbs for ten reps
Standing DB curls
Set 1 - 50lbers for ten reps
Set 2 - 50lbers for ten reps
Set 3 - 50lbers for ten reps
Standing Hammer curls
Set 1 - 40lbers for ten reps
Set 2 - 40lbers for ten reps
Set 3 - 40lbers for ten reps
I only recently started training for this goal. I have been thinking about it for a long time and have always trained arms hard.
This is only my second workout doing my curls against the wall and I am still getting used to perfecting my form here so that I feel 100 percent comfortable.
Let me know what you guys think so far, and please feel free to give advice.

Arms were feeling tight, needed to get some blood flowing.
Did three sets of twenty reps with 25lbers to get the job done. I find this helps with soreness.

this part of the board is dedicated to questions about the competition, rules, clarifications, etc. post your log in the logs sections and a lot more people will probably read it. looks like some strong curl numbers though!

Sorry about that guys, I will transfer this over to the training log section as soon as I am done with this post.
And to answer the question of which record I am going for. I will be going for the World Records in the 308 as well as the super heavyweight classes.
