I took OTC Supremacy, by Maximus labs in Feb/Mar. No gains wasn't that impressed with it, especially with the risks associated with it....
But my question is, if this product and others like it have Estra-4, 9-diene-3, 17-dione and some other ingredients that are listed on the WADA banned list as a steroid compound. How can they be sold over the counter? Is it they are at such a low and unpure dosage you wouldn't fail a test and they won't be as effective as a true anabolic agent?
Thanks....Going back to McDonalds and beer as my supplements...lol

Whoa! Just because something is OTC, don't think you can't pop positive on a WADA test. That's why Darren Matsumoto is out of the USAPL and into the USPF. In NASA, Tom Manno got 2 positive tests due to OTC stuff.

If you took a product containing Estra-4, 9-diene-3, 17-dione, you would test positive for metabolites of trenbolone for 5-6 months after you stopped taking it. That is considered a positive result for steroid use and would result in a 2 year ban.
To answer your question about selling the product. A product does not have to be illegal to be banned. There are many OTC items including OTC medicines that will produce a positive test result.

I contacted the manufacturer they said the dosage is so low it shouldn't show on a test unless i was taking more then the directions. I asked if is such low dosage per pill what does it actually do? They said it was just an OTC supplement with no promises....i tossed em out...should of sent them back... Going to take a NO pre workout, Creatine, Glutamine and ZMA...
I stopped taking prescibed Andro Gel for my Test levels (189) they should be up around 500 right? Can I go back on that?

The manufacturer is trying to sell their product. They said "shouldn't" so that you will no recourse against them if you do test positive.
I run the drug testing for 100% RAW. The info that I passed on to you is based on real world experience. We have had several people test positive for tren and nandrolone after taking similar OTC supplements.
Remember, our policy is that the use of performance enhanced drugs is banned. We make no distinction between testing positive for a legal substance and testing positive for using straight "juice".
If you use Andro Gel or any other for of HRT/TRT, you will need an approved TUE in order to compete. Drug labs do not just test for testosterone level. All manufactured testosterone has a chemical "tag" added to it. The labs can check for that tag to see if your testosterone is natural or exogenous.

What's a TUE?
Thanks....
What is bizzare is what I took didn't help in any aspect. If anything i feel i got weaker cause I struggle with 500 on the bench since taking it.
Continuing to take Liver Pill, Fat burner, Creatine, Multi, Glutamine and BCAA powder. Getting more strict with my diet by adding in 2 extra protein meals....intake of protein on my gym days is close to 320....Hoping this is the right course to take.
Thanks again.

The use of a TUE is explained in our drug testing policy. You will need the standard TUE for TRT. Drug Policy: rawpowerlifting.com/pdf/RAWDrugTestPolicy.pdfNo, that is actually quite common. Estra-4, 9-diene-3, 17-dione is not tren. It is a metabolite of tren. The theory that these supplement companies try to sell you is that your body will convert the metabolite into the real thing. There are a few prohormones that work for people, but most of them are garbage. Yes, diet will make you or break you. However, remember that diet is a noun - not a verb. If your diet isn't right, no amount of supps will help. Personally, I would say drop the fat burner - 99% of them don't work and do a little research on fish oil - it might be beneficial to you, it might not. I have discussed this with literally hundreds of lifters and the general consensus is that the following work and the rest are garbage: multi, protein powder, creatine, and fish oil. I don't know what your diet is like, but I know it is difficult to maintain strength/power while dropping weight. Most people cut carbs drastically while trying to lose weight. Just remember that there are good carbs and bad carbs. Your body likes to use carbs for energy during a workout. The total time frame for your body to digest complex carbs in the stomach, pass them through the small intestine to extract the various usable components, and then have the liver provide the glucose that your body needs for energy is approximately 8 hours. I normally try to plan a high carb meal 12-16 hours before a big workout to make sure I have enough glycogen stored up to fuel my workout.

This is very interesting read. Thanks Playmaker for the post. To 3speed or anyone else how long after using these types of products can you still test positive at a meet. I think it kinda crappy that not just this supplement but other one can state things like they are "All Natural" and someone tries it and it works or dont but they put some much effort to train. They get to there meet and then fail test. Tricky bastards.

To 3speed: If you have a TUE and you're lucky enough to get a doc to boost test levels to near 1000ng/dl, (like a 20yr. old) then are you still within limits. To a geezer like me, it would be night and day's difference I believe. I'd really hate to get bumped into 'roider class over something that is just making me feel better than crap.
