Hey, Bud and Matthew! I have a different concern. I know Tribuloid isn't truly a testosterone supplement, but there's anecdotal data that says using a trib supplement can get the test levels to the point where a guy could test positive. Yall are both probably careful enough with supplementation that you won't have that to worry about, but a new lifter, a teenager, etc may not be that cautious, and end up with a 2-year vacation from the fed. Bud, if you go this route, let me know about the weight issue. I've developed this selfish goal of trying to hit 1300 @ 165 to get the elite status. Right now it doesn't appear I'll need to change supplementation, just cardio God Bless. Doug

I have spoken to Goliath Labs numerous times about this. They assure me that TRIBULIOD will not make you test positive, all ingredients are natural. I have taken it several times and will continue to do so, I love this stuff because it does what it says it will. If anyone has concerns or questions feel free to email me, Goliath Labs or BUD or post here.
My email is bodebldr2000@yahoo.com Goliath Labs is admin@goliathlabs.com ....make sure you tell them you are a RAW member.

I contacted Cytodyne about Xenadrine ephedra free. Had the same questions. They assured me that nothing in Xenadrine was on the forbidden list. When I went to the anti-doping site, they had caffeine at 12 mcg/ml or something like that. In other words, Xenadrine is fine, but if a fella takes too much of it, he'll test positive for caffeine. The long and short of it is if a person takes a low dose of the legal stuff, they ought to be okay IF they don't mix with a supplement that causes some funky biochemical reaction that causes a positive whiz quiz.
The trib supplements are supposed to boost test production. Same as with the Xenadrine, if you take too much, even though all the ingredients are legal, you can still boost your test up above the limits.
Plus my wife already thinks I don't need any more testosterone. ;')

Is *caffeine* a banned substance?!? Holy cow am I ever in trouble!!! My daily coffee consumption can be measured in *pots* sometimes!!!
Doug, you raise a good question though, although I was thinking about another supplement..the NO explode that is 100% RAW approved. I was thinking of trying it, but the ingredient list has a ton of stuff on it.
My worry is that there's something in there that will cause a postive if you are using it during competition...is there?
Or is it like ephedra, where it is legal to use, but you can't use it within 7 days of a meet?
The reason I ask, is that I was thinking of trying the NO explode and I don't want to test positve for anything.
Of course at this rate ( having missed the NE and VT meets ) I'll never get to a meet ! ;-(

Hey, Toolpod. The two links are to the anti-doping documents that cover all the banned, "not banned", and straddle the fence chemicals. Caffeine straddles the fence in that it's perfectly legal, as long as you don't have more than a certain amount in your system. I have no idea how to calculate that amount....I slept through that part of chemistry class.... www.usantidoping.org/files/active/what/wallet_card.pdfwww.wada-ama.org/rtecontent/document/list_2005.pdfLike you, my biggest concern was caffeine. Heck, I drink mt. dew at meets like most guys drink gatorade or water! I'm switching off, though. I'm trying an energy drink that's carb-based instead of caffeine based. So far so good. It doesn't give you much of a pop, but you don't get the letdown either. I think (note the implied uncertainty) you're okay with NO explode. The nitris oxide is a water-gain thing mostly for the bodybuilders, and the creatine is, well, creatine. What you can do is follow the link to the long document, scroll down the ingredients as you scroll down the document. And if you find one on the ingredients you're unsure about, google it. Hope this helps. God Bless. Doug

I hope Paul or Shawn will correct me if I am wrong on this.
100% RAW follows the guidelines set forth by the World Anti-Doping Code. The WADA 2006 Prohibited List states that caffeine is included in the Monitoring Program and is not considered a Prohibited Substance. No In-Competition threshhold is established. However, the IOC sets the limit at 12 mcg/ml. The average individual would have to consume 800 mg of caffeine over a period of 3-5 hours to reach this blood level. That would be the equivalent of 5-6 strong cups of coffee. Some average caffeine levels are as follows: Cup of coffee 100mg (can range from 50-200) Can of Coke 46mg 1 Excedrin 65mg MelloYello 53 mg Pepsi 37mg Mt Dew 55mg (for Doug)
Doug........Consuming 5 cans of Mt Dew in 1 hour would be considered an overdose. Consuming 200 cans in a 3-5 hour period would be lethal to 50% of the population.
This is not my information. It was gleaned from several internet sources.
