Why are there no events, members, etc. from western US states? 100% Raw seems to be concentrated in the east/southeast US. I see other countries mentioned too, but nothing about Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, etc. We do have some Raw categories in our USAPL/ADFPA meets. Is it just that the Raw powerlifting federation was started in the east and has not spread? ...just curious. Thanks.

I noticed your a new member. Welcome!
Have you considered being a meet director?
There are lifters from the central and western part of the country who do come east to the meets. I think I can speak for all when saying that if there was someone who would step-up and take the lead, the federation will grow. The folks in Illinois is a great example of if there is a will, there is a way. They get together and make it happen. And DJ in Nebraska holds meets each year.
Send a note to Paul. I'm sure he would like to hear from you. He is looking for qualified state chairmen and meet directors.
Jim

Thank you Jim. I will send Paul a note.
The concept of Raw (non-enhanced) powerlifting as a true test of strength has always appealed to me. I was excited to find that someone had taken the initiative to start an association with that in mind.
