Happy Thanksgiving to all. I want to thank the Lord for his countless blessing to me and my family. Bless the name of the Lord.

A couple of quotes appropriate for today:
"What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it - would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have." Ralph Marston
"Appreciation can make a day, even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary." Margaret Cousins
Spend a few moments today to reflect on what you are truly thankful for. If it involves someone, let them know. You could change a life.
I had a discussion recently with Dopar - hope you don't mind Doug. We discussed the fact that if you honestly count the blessings you have, you don't have time left to complain about what you don't have.
Everyone enjoy your meals and please remember to give thanks.

The feast is about to begin so let me just list the top three things I'm thankful for. In no particular order they are:
1. Having learned how to regain my strengh and improve my health. Weight lifting and proper diet have transformed me and put the lie to the thought that I was too old to still do some things.
2. That there are still people who are willing to serve in our military and make the sacrifices necessary to keep us free.
3. That God in his mercy does not hold me to account for the evil I have brought into this world but has freely paid the debit in my place.

Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations.~Psalm 100

Ours was so good we are doing a repeat tomorrow. Same here. We had a practice round last Saturday and we are going to do it all over again tomorrow. I might be a 308 by Worlds.

Yeah, but I ate non-stop and only gained 1 pound. I didn't do the holiday justice!
