There is an issue affecting the ability to modify posts on this forum. Once the text is typed in on a new thread/reply, we are unable to position the cursor back in the text or make any modifications. Thanks for the assistance!!!!!!!!

It is a recent problem. I can't use the mouse to reposition my cursor or to copy or drag anything when I'm posting. I have not changed any software or hardware recently.

I can confirm Big & 3speed. You also cannot do a windows copy and paste from any post. this started last week and does the same thing on my work computer. It makes posting rather annoying.

I fourth that. I'm using IE6 (due to IT reasons passed down from above), so that's not it. I'll try it with firefox this afternoon and let you know if that helps.
Thanks, Bud.
God Bless and Gassho, Budman!

"I can confirm Big & 3speed. You also cannot do a windows copy and paste from any post. this started last week and does the same thing on my work computer. It makes posting rather annoying." Mozilla works for the copy & paste.
And if I type on my work computer with firefox, I can go back with my mouse just fine. (I did that to get the words "my work computer" in that sentence).
Looks like brother Gates is at the root of the problem.........arrest him..........
:')
God Bless.

I have all those problems with Internet Explorer 7. Thing is I never had the problem before with IE 7. I have no problems with firefox but just a touch inconvenient.
I'm guessing is everyone with IE 7 is having this issue - try it out.

Chancey - I have IE 6.0 because I do not like some of the features of 7.0. I had not made any changes to hardware or software when this started for me.
Bud - I cannot use my mouse to copy anything on the forum - whether in my own post or someone else's. I cannot use my mouse to reposition my cursor or to highlight text to make color changes or text changes. I have to embed the codes manually. Whenever I click in the subject box bmfsports.com opens in a popup window. In short, my mouse is useless to me on this forum. This began in the middle of July.
