08-30-07 (Early AM)
Bench (Smith) (215 Buckeye) 90 x 8 145 x 8 155 x 6 165 x 4 175 x 3 185 x 2 195 x 1 165 x 4
DB Incline 45's x 12 x 4
DB exercises just aren't much good without bigger dumbells.

Roger on the dumbells. Doing a 215 Buckeye, those 45s are probably as LOW as you want to go, but certainly not much more. For reference, I'm doing (re: stuck on) the 310 Buckeye and go up to about 85s for quality reps, after that it tapers off fast.......
Solid workout, Williamson!
God Bless.

Yeah, just wanted to try something different, and get away from the machine. I just don't have any larger DB's.

Gatherting equipment can take a bit of time. I lurked on ebay and craigslist for 4 months but found some incredeble deals. I built stuff in the mean time that worked real well. I even squated off of saw horses. I had to do the duck walk to get under the bar but it worked for a while.

I only wish I could find a nice squat/deadlift competition out there. Who needs benchpressing, anyway? Not this guy. Perhaps this PL training will get me in shape to tackle strongman sometime. It my fit my build much better.

Strong DL work Williamson. Unless you've busted your gut doing 8 singles you'd never guess how taxing it becomes. Nice finish with the SLDLs.

I love deadlifting. I love being able to grab hold of a big weight and let it rip. I love the feeling of accomplishment that goes with a big pull.
However, pulling that many singles is not fun!
