BTW; Chancey...congrats on the meet! 600 rocks....and you pwnZ0red that 400...next time you will do it for "the books".
I hear you about bad handoffs...I strained a shoulder once for a bad handoff with 405...couldn't bench heavy for 2 months. Nowdays, I'll hit the rack if I can't get a known-good-spotter!

Felt good. I have decided to do a push/pull event Sep 29th. I prefer to go full power but I am riding a wave of success right now and am going to push my body until it say "uncle". I will still be training my squats, nice and deep, using a nice plan that 3speed recommended. I will probably use a similar bench routine that I recently used. I see the wave of success happening on the buckeye routine now and am tempted to try it but if it aint broke don't fix it. Even I shocked myself with a very nice touch n go 425 recently. Something I’m doing is working.

Felt good? FELT GOOD? I reckon so! Nice pushing!
Sep 29 gives you some GOOD prep time! With all you've learned lately, plus all the success, you keep the shoulder healthy and that may be a very good day for you!
Keep icing the shoulder even if it doesn't hurt. Consider it preventitive maintenance. :')
God Bless!

I’ve been straight out all weekend and had no time to get to a computer. It was driving me nuts knowing the nationals went down and I was eager for those first bits of information. Sounds like it went off really well. Congrats to you all.
I was going to do one last light workout before starting my new log for my sep 29th push/pull but instead spent the last two days as a spotter/loader for a strongman competition at the Harpoon Beer fest in Windsor, VT. That was loading and unloading as well for two days. You name it I moved it. I can’t even begin to say how sore I am right now. I also said I would do it next year. I need my head checked. It was fun and I got to network more. I couldn’t believe the crowds we pulled in. Sat we probably had 300+ people watching, easy.

After watching people working meets I have to say that loading and unloading is one major workout.
Good for you!
