I had scheduled a hay pick up Saturday but the weather was not cooperating. It looked like an opportunity to restart my 5x5 workout. Tucker decided for me that I needed to do the stubble part of the Wood, Hay and Stubble workout.

A window of opportunity to restart my workout. I'm so impressed by the progress that others are having with the Buckeye that I'm making it my bench routine.

Wow, a day to do my whole routine without interruption.
All went smooth but the last 4 RDLs I felt a bit of a strain on the lower back. Morning will tell how much.
The Vet called today to ask if I wanted another big white dog. Someone needed to find a home for their's. I took my shirt off to see if I had a "kick me" sign on the back.

Happy as I am with the 245 Buckeye I think I may repete it next week. The KB swings went better than I hoped since my back was unhappy with the RDLs from last week.

Nice Buckeye work! Hopefully you like as much as i do! (of course 'like' isn't exactly what I mean)...like the results, not the sneaky way that it beats you up!
And KB work too! I've been shying away from the KB, but everybody keeps telling me how much they like them.

Thanks TP. So many are seeing good results from the Buckeye that I just have to use it.
I don't actually have a real KB. I made a handle from galvanized pipe with a T connector that I can put plates on. It cost about $6 but works real good for swings.

Chalk this up to inconsistent training coupled with consistent food consumption. Ahhh, the Christmas season.
Hope everyone has a blessed Christmas.
