Ok, here is todays workout (11/15/06)
worked tricep lockout w/boards and my karins DD open back shirt:
Warmup: Kettlebell snatches w/12kg bell (not sure about number of reps, but did about 3 sets per arm.) 2 board: 315+doubled small bands x 5 reps 3 board: 385 (same bands) x 3 reps 4 board: 425 (same bands) x 3 reps DB Tricep extensions: 50's 3x8 Kettlebell Windmills: 2x5 each arm
Great workout! Felt real strong on the board presses. Will do kettlebell arm bars at home tonight before bed. yall have a good night and day tomorrow.

Thanks dopar. had a bit of bad luck at church last night. was going up some stairs and slipped and bent my left ring finger back the wrong way. basically jammed the nuckle, but it is swollen up this morning and could not even put my w. ring on (wife was a little put out by that! LOL.) cannot grip anything very well, but not doing anything again till Monday, so should be ok by then. not broken, but very sore. Chad

OUCH!
It may be a little late for this, but ice therapy works wonders on stuff like that. Jams are peculiar, though. Sometimes they're overnighters, but I've had wrestlers and football players affected for months after jamming a finger or toe. I certainly hope you get that bad boy fixed up before the 9th, about 11:00 when that first squat takes place!
In addition to the ice, something like aspirin or Tylenol, some painkiller with anti-inflammatory properties to it. I don't know if you've tried pulling the knuckle back out yet, but that may be best left to a nurse, chiropractor, somebody with experience.
Man, poop for timing! I'll certainly pray for you!
God Bless.

Oh, wait, forgot to ask before I posted, are you going to lift at the meet in Vermont? I know they added more events, but didn't ask before I posted.....
(sheepish grin)

No, too far and budget will not allow any long trips right now. Am focusing on our state RAW meet here in Miss. in Feb. and my shirted meet in April.

Understood! Nice to have the fed in your own territory now!
Look for Dom to be there. He's quite a strong 181 pounder, or really light 198.
I'll now defer all posts to your new log.
God Bless.
