Curious...what's your reasoning for jumping back and forth between a powerlifting routine and a bb routine?

let me tell you, at first I did not think that would actually work cycling the power with the bodybuilding. But I learned it in the military, and it give my body a rest from heavy weight and gives it growth and muscle density, so when I go back I will actually be stronger. I have seen a lot of improvement doing this st;yle of triaining.

today I came back with a vengence, I took three fourty five pound plates, so it was about eight inches high, and I did deadlifts up that, doing six sets working up to a one rep max. then I did front squats doing set of three, then two then one. Then I repeted taht, then did the same rep shceme with good mornings. After taht I did hyperextension with a fourty five plate for three sets of eight. I loved it.

That's pretty intense, Howdy! I tried mixing up the bodybuilding and powerlifting for a while, but I found out I was growing too much to make it into the 181s. (My size was increasing a lot more than my strength.) My hat is certainly off to you for taking this approach, cuz I know what it is like!
Keep us all posted on the massive gains, bro.
God Bless. Doug

yesterday was cool day, I have been sick again so I had ot take off some time. I was injured in the military and get sick a lot, but anyway, I did a warm up of 135 bench with three second pauses, then did the same weight for 8, then moved uip fifteen pounds and did three second pause till failure, then did that until I could only get a single. Then went back up the later but without the pause. AFter that some bies, and lats, the lats where more of bodybuilding as we did front and back at the same time. Then finished off with incline db each set to failure moving up in weight. It was great. God bless and God bless Texas

i forgot to add that today is heavy day for deadlifts, I am going to try to work up to a triple with 405, cross me fingers, then do some heavy sitting rows, and tries. Sounds fun right, well that is because it is fun. I am also thinking about doing some heavy t-bar supersetting with back delt whatchyoucallit thinges. Sounds fun, well it is so airborne. God Bless Amercia, and buy the way, I did a fun lifting challenge in my gym, (not a really thing) and beat a guy that was braging about how much he can squat with his suit and I beat him with no belt and no knee wraps. Raw is the real deal.

I hear you Howdy!
Bummer you've been sick, but it looks like you came back pretty danged intensely. That was a particularly nasty bench workout you did..... I don't like thinking about it.....
Hope all is well!
God Bless. Doug

That looks brutal finishing with 3 sec pause squats. I added that page to my faves. I might try that myself at the beginning of the year. I am starting to love squats. My last leg workout had me sore for 3 days – It was great!.

today is going to be an airborne type day, I will use around 225 and do three sets of two for pauses, then I will go to dead lifts and work up to 80% of my max and do six sets of six, each week go down so it would be five to five and so on but increase the wieght, after that do pull ups. Then finish it off with some curls. Wish me luck

check it out, now I spread out a wierd workout plan. I do rickeys squat routine, the russian percantage one for now, then the next day I do bench using the gvt, and then some dips. Then on thursday I do a deadlifting routine I found that I really like designed by donna slage. Then on saturday I do shoulders, and some light legs. I am getting some good gains off of it

Wow. You really do your research! I am not familiar with the DL routine. The german volume training looks like pure brutality - I'm afraid, very afraid.
