Hi everyone, doing my first meet next month and wondering if this belt is OK: www.spud-inc-straps.com/mens-deadlift-belt-3-ply.htmlThe rules state: a. The main body shall be made of leather, vinyl or similar non-stretch material in one or more laminations which may be glued and/or stitched together. b. It shall not have additional padding, bracing or supports of any material either on the surface or concealed within the lamination of the belt. c. The buckle shall be attached at one end of the belt by means of studs and/or stitching d. The belt may have a buckle with one or two prongs or ―quick release (referring to a lever). It doesn't address Nylon (which the spud belt is made of) or use of Velcro as the fastener. Anyone know if its ok to use? Thanks

It's triple-ply which sounds a bit odd to me honestly.
If we're being totally candid here and this is your first meet, I'd go without a belt rather than one that's questionable.
Let's see what Woody has to say as I believe he has a pretty deep knowledge of fed rules.

I have interrupted the rule to exclude the spud belt or any other belt that uses Velcro to lock. Also, as you stated the construction is woven nylon, which is a stretchy material.
