I’ve recently added supplements back into my diet, specifically basic creatinine. It is a powder so of course you are expected to mix it with some sort of liquid and drink it. I use water, and I have not found a way to really blend the creatinine into the water. I even tried using boiling water but I still end up with residue in the shaker.
Has anyone found a way around this problem?

Has anyone found a way around this problem? Dont put creatine into any hot liquid. It renders it inert and it becomes more useless than sugar water. There is no fool proof way of disolving creatine that I've found, but I'm told fruit juice is the best way to make it absorb quickest or for best uptake in general. What I do is mix it with a spoon as much as possible, drink some of the liquid with just-mixed creatine and then after a gulp or two, mix it vigoriously again and drink some more. Now, that's when I take creatine by itself, which is rare. Generally, I'll dump a teaspoon of it into my post-workout protein shake and then just mix the whole thing up in a blender and I'm good to go. -Ryan

Thanks for the information on the hot liquid, I did not know that. I may start using juice. The creatinine I’m using is pretty basic stuff no flavorings or added stuff so the juice might improve the flavor also.

I must admit that my wife was a little miffed about how fast the juice went.
