I’m not handy at all so I personally would never attempt it but I have been told if your handy and have worked with cement (or concrete) it fairly easy to make.
As far as training, nothing beats training stones like training with stones. That being said, if money or space is a factor That device (I’ve never use it but I’ve watched a few videos) looks like it would do a good job training what I think is the hardest part of the lift getting your hands under the stone and getting it moving and lapping it. From there I normally move my arms from 9 and 3 to 10 and 2 which you can’t do with the device.
Hope that helps some

Thanks I found a gym that has them so may check them out. Be so much easier than making them.

Stones do rock! LMAO – Pun intended, but you may want to invest in some type of forearm sleeves. The first time I did stones the left my forearms raw and bruised. The do have fore sleeves but I wasn’t able to find them anywhere. What I ended up getting was a shin sleeve from Sports Authority. Well worth the investment.

You might try IRONMIND for the forearm sleeves. Not sure if they carry them but I'm sure Randy can point you in the right direction if he doesn't.

What's the weight of the stones? I've been using hardwood trees of various diameters cut to 3ft in length while cutting firewood. Ed
