I have spoken to Paul Bossi, and we are in the process of organizing a 2010 100% Raw Women’s National Championships near Binghamton, NY. The contest would be Sanction III, and would include: Full-Power, Bench Press, Deadlift, & Strict Curl. The event would be open ONLY to women, & we intend to use a well-known female powerlifter/referee as the head judge.
We are still up in the air as to when the event should take place (keep in mind: I do not want to interfere with the generic Nationals (likely in June), the World’s (likely October/November), or my regular meet in the end of May).
The contest would be a great step for the organization, and I am interested in your feedback!

Why wouldn't the ladies be able to lift in the new American Challenge ?? This would minimize travel for most and provide numerous opportunities for more to lift.

Oooh. Sounds great! Not only do I live in the Binghamton area, but I am new to powerlifting scene and would like to compete a bit.
